Epic has revealed details of what will be included in the forthcoming major expansion pack for the PC and PlayStation 3 versions of Unreal Tournament 3.
New Character: Kana
The Titan Pack will add a total of 19 new maps to the game; 4 for the Warfare mod, 3 vCTF, 6 Deathmatch, 3 CTF, 5 maps that previously were Xbox 360-exclusive, and 3 that come from the earlier Bonus Pack.
Players will be able to play in two new gametypes; Betrayal, an instagib mod where you can only win by betraying your teammates, and Greed, a CTF gametype that is almost entirely based on the UT2004 mod. In addition, the pack will bring a new Titan mutator, which lets players overwhelm opponents as a 15 foot tall titan, or crush them as a 30 foot tall Behemoth enhanced by every power-up in the game.
Also included in the Titan Pack:
Two powerful weapons; the Stinger Turret and Eradicator Cannon artillery
Two valuable deployables; the X-Ray Field and Link Station
The Slow Field power-up, a portable version of the Slow Field deployable
Stealthbender, a new vehicle that carries two spidermine trap deployables, one EMP mine, and one each of the new Link Station and X-Ray Field deployables.
Two new characters, Nova and Kana (Liandri and Ronin, respectively)
57 awards attainable as Steam Achievements and PS3 Trophies
Broad improvements for PC and PS3: Significant AI enhancements, especially in vehicle gametypes; networking performance upgrades; greatly improved menu flow and UI usability; better mod support
Client-side demo recording, highly improved Server Browser, a new maplist system, plus mid-game mutator and gametype voting functionality for PC
High demand PS3 features including PS3 Trophy support, two-player split-screen support, and mod browsing

The free-of-charge pack, which will follow after the gigantic patch, is due out in less than 2 weeks, on March 5, and will weigh in at around 800 MB, according to Epic.
The Titan pack will definitely make a significant change to UT3, but will that change make people who had been disappointed by the game to take a second look at it and give it another chance? Will it bring more popularity to UT3? Share your thoughts!
Rockstar has released new screenshots from The Lost and Damned that show the game's main protagonist Niko Bellic, who makes his appearance for the first time in the DLC's screenshots, and also in a new featured trailer.
In addition, CVG have had the chance to play and test The Lost and Damned's multiplayer component, and revealed new game additions, with their favourite one being 'Own the City', in which two teams fight against each other all across Liberty City, to try and take over territories.
CVG wrote:
It's all very similar to San Andreas own turf feature; once either team has eliminated an area's AI gang members it'll change to their colour, spawning your own tooled-up AI mates in the process. A frantic, city-sprawling turf war ensues with team members gearing up to assault enemy turf, while scrambling back to their own to defend opposing attacks.
The hands-on preview, with more information about the DLC and new multiplayer screenshots, can be found here.
The Lost and Damned will be available exclusively on the Xbox Live Marketplace for 20$ this Tuesday, February 17. Xbox 360 owners will be given a chance to play the multiplayer aspect of both the original title and TLAD for free, starting from February 17 until 22.
The recently announced 'Survival Pack' DLC for Valve's cooperative zombie shooter Left 4 Dead will be free for both PC and Xbox 360 players.
Due out this spring, the download will add a new Survival mode where players attempt to survive endless hordes of zombies on at least 12 maps, and allow the Dead Air and Death Toll campaigns to be played in the multiplayer Versus mode.
It was a safe bet to assume the new content would be free for PC users, but this news will come as a great relief for Xbox 360 players who have previously had to pay for the updates for Valve's Team Fortress 2.
Also mentioned in the press release is the release of a 'Critic's Choice Edition' of Left 4 Dead which will hit stores shortly and will include access to all the additional content.
